Abstract
In 1962 visionary Dr Douglas Engelbart wrote a paper "AUGMENTING HUMAN INTELLECT: A Conceptual Framework" that lead to many of the innovations in modern computing: hypertext, networked collaborative computing, multiple windows, videoconferencing, word processing and graphics, and his most famous invention, the mouse. In this paper I will explore Engelbart's underlying notion of using technology to augment human intellect and increasing an organization's collective IQ.
